UAMVCon Selection Process Is Open Again!
This year we decided to show competition works at OTOBE 2010 festival. There is not that much time left, so if you have an idea for a good video, don’t keep it back but better start to bring it to life.
Don’t be afraid if you’re a novice. It may be your chance to start working in such exciting and interesting field as video making.
Works are accepted until September 23, 2010.
We recommend you to load your videos on our FTP server in ~incoming directory or on GettyFile file archive (in this case please indicate a link in the questionnaire or a personal email and do not disclose it to third persons)..

On May 16th, 2009, Ukraine-Japan Center hosted the finals of UAMVCon, anime videomakers competition. 36 videos were demonstrated on big screen, one from each participant. The event was attended by approximately 100 people, among them authors of videos - some of those arrived from other cities.

Video demonstration was complemented by a competition for real anime lovers - the audience was supposed to define an anime character by his or her eyes; then a coffee-break followed. During that time AMV fans were able to take a bite and prepare for the final part of the competition - the announcement of winners according to judges' decision and voting by two additional nominations - Audience Choice Award and Japanese Judges Choice Award.
Our warmest congratulations to the winners! As many outstanding works were received, the judges decided not to limit themselves with the available nominations and instead to introduce several additional ones.
